This is an important French and Indian War document signed by the signer of the Declaration of Independence, Hopkins. Lengthy instructions to Peleg Clarke, the captain of a War Privateer, on the capture of enemy vessels and confiscation of goods and taking of prisoners during the French and Indian War.
